Fan-Fiction Contest
For all you writers out there this is the contest for you!
CONTEST ENDS OCTOBER 31st, 2007

This round's theme is Summer Vacation. How you address the theme is up to you. Maybe your fiction takes place during the summer. Maybe all of your characters are reflecting on summers past. Maybe it's ironic, and your characters only wish they could be on summer vacation. But SOMEHOW you MUST refer to summer vacation.

Rules

  • All submissions must relate to the current round's theme.
  • FanFics MUST be written in a LEGIBLE font. Preferably black, Times New Roman, size 12.
  • FanFics can be full length stories, poems, song parodies, etc, but they must not excede 10 pages.
  • Please either write out your FanFic on a website, like freewebs, or attach it in an e-mail. PLEASE DO NOT TYPE YOUR ENTRY INTO THE COMMENT SECTION OF THE CONTEST FORM! If you ignore this rule your entry will be ignored.
  • Submissions MAY use profanity, sexually explicit language/scenarios, slash, ludicrous ships, whatever. But if you think your entry is unsuibtable for more innocent minds please put a disclaimer, warning or rating at the top of your submission, AND on your entry form.
  • Don't you dare even TRY to claim someone else's story as your own.
  • Spelling counts. You should all know how to spell "Dumbledore" by now. But entries will be judged on their creativity/originality, and their ability to keep characters true to their original book personalities; not grammar.

    Prizes:

  • Participant: 2 random cards and a sickle
  • 3rd place: Card of choice and a knut
  • 2nd place: 2 cards of choice and 2 knuts
  • 1st place: 3 cards of choice and 3 galleons
